Fr. Camilo–Sixth Parish Priest of Savio Parish

Mandaluyong City, the Philippines, 17 June 2017—At ten o’clock in the morning, the Eucharistic Celebration began inside the parish church of Saint Dominic Savio in Mandaluyong City for the installation of Fr. Ferdinand Camilo, SDB, as its sixth parish priest.

His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, DD, of the Archdiocese of Manila, solemnly installed Fr. Camilo at the start of the Holy Mass. He likewise gave the homily.
Fr. Paul Bicomong, SDB, the Provincial Superior of the Philippine North Province (FIN) read the official appointment letter of Fr. Camilo before Fr. Camilo took his oath.
The event was concelebrated by other Salesian priests and priests from the Vicariate. All the parish organizations were well represented as the church was filled with parishioners.
Just before the final blessing, Fr. Camilo gave his message of gratitude to the Cardinal and to all who were present.
Lunch followed right after the ceremony.
God bless you and your parish community, Fr. Camilo.
