Though the task is done primarily by Bros. Raffy, JB, JJ, and myself, the main gardener is the community insofar as we all belong to one Community.
We do the gardening because the community trusts and supports us.
Historically, we started our garden since we have transferred here in this community, but the piece of land was limited. With the contributed efforts and consistency of the brothers, things have shaped up.
The Rinaldi Community, which is the professors’ residence, allowed us to use a portion of their land for the vegetable garden.
The vegetables that we planted in the farm include okra, alugbati, radish, tomato, eggplant, mustard, pechay, lettuce, hot pepper some herbs, like tarragon, basil, and some other Vietnamese herbs.
Though there were challenges such as insects, snails, and so on, but thanks be to God, for we have harvested many times.
