Parañaque City, the Philippines, 15 August 2022–On the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Salesians of the Philippines-North Province received a wonderful gift in the person of two new priests.

Rev. Fr. Jarmy Reignier Roxas, SDB, and Rev. Fr. Jose Isidro Torres, SDB, were ordained to the priesthood today, August 15, 2022, at three o’clock in the afternoon in the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, Paranaque. The ordaining prelate was Abp. Socrates Villegas, DD, of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan.

The two new priests were living testaments to the efficacy of St. John Bosco’s Preventive System, as both had studied in Salesian schools–Rev. Fr. Jarmy in Don Bosco Technical College in Mandaluyong and Rev. Fr. Jojo in Don Bosco Technical Institute in Tarlac.
