Last February 04, 2023, confreres from DB San Jose, DB Tarlac, and DB Pampanga gathered as a community of the North District to strengthen support, solidarity, and synodality as an expression of the Salesian fraternal life.
When the provincial, Fr. Gerry Martin, SDB, concluded his canonical visitation in DB Tarlac and began the same in DB Pampanga, the three communities of the North district had a lunch get-together. The confreres relished the table fellowship characterized by Kapampangan culinary repertoire and complemented by shared stories, festive laughter, and good company.
The sumptuous meal was capped by coffee and ice cream in DB Pampanga where the three communities recreated the Synodal Walk portrayed by the SDBs and FMAs of Pampanga last January 31, 2023 – the feast of our saintly father and founder, Don Bosco.
Gatherings like this, which are marked by warmth, conviviality, and joy, are a regular occurrence in the North district. These encounters proved to be opportune avenues for the fraternal expression of support, solidarity, and synodality which the Church, the Congregation, and the communities direly need today.
